Step 1
Remove damage from the ski surface. Often stones can hit the sliding part, which lead to the appearance of seals in the place where the blows occur. Use the rough side of the T240 stone to solve this problem. Begin to flatten the damaged part by pressing firmly on the stone and gradually working your way forward over the surface. Do this on both the slip and the side of the piping.
Step 2
Also remove any scratches and burrs all over the piping. This is a necessary operation before applying the ointment. Perform this procedure with the same T240 stone, but only with a lighter pressure. Then clean the sliding surface. Spray I62 all over. Wait about 15 seconds. Then take a T151 fiberboard and clean the entire surface of the skis with it.
Step 3
Apply Swix F4 Ointment Liquid. Shake the bottle of this brand of liquid ointment well. Then cover the entire sliding surface with light pressure on the spray applicator. Don't touch your skis for a few minutes. This is necessary so that the ointment is completely absorbed. For faster glide, polish the surface with a T151 blade. Do this in the same way as you clean your shoes.
Step 4
Use the dry method of applying this brand of ointment. To do this, you need the F4-60 hard hex. Take a small wooden block, gently press it on the ointment on the sliding surface of the skis.
Step 5
Run this way over the entire sliding area. After that, take the cork attached to the package and carefully polish the entire surface of the skis. Keep it clean at the end of the job. Otherwise, the skis will glide very badly.
Step 6
Use the Swix F4 quick ointment method. Shake the bottle of ointment. Apply the emulsion to the ski surface by slowly pressing down on the applicator. Wait two minutes and buff the skis with fiberlene.
