The popular "sun" trick, performed on a horizontal bar, requires good coordination and strong hands. If you would like to surprise your girlfriend or friends with something, this is a great way to demonstrate your strength and agility.
It is necessary
- - safety straps (for beginners);
- - lack of fear;
- - perseverance.
Instructions
Step 1
Before moving on to performing the trick, you need to learn how to do a handstand, at least near a wall. The more time you can stand on your hands, the better. Approximately 3-4 minutes is enough. It is also advisable to first learn how to do push-ups on your hands, engage with an expander and dumbbells and perform other strength exercises to develop the muscles of the arms. In order to develop a strong grip, you also need to train yourself to hang on the horizontal bar for a long time.
Step 2
At the initial stage, if you are learning to make the "sun" on the yard horizontal bar, and not in the gym, you will need straps. You need to sew them yourself, since they should reliably insure you against falling from the horizontal bar to the ground. For sewing straps, a tow rope, straps from an old backpack / briefcase or a kimono belt are suitable.
Step 3
If you decide to buy a cable, choose a strong one so it won't stretch. So, take a cable, cut a length of about 80-85 cm from it. Then you need to go to the horizontal bar and try on the strap on yourself to determine the length that suits you (approximately it can be 67-75 cm).
Step 4
After you have measured the desired length, cut off the excess, while leaving about five centimeters in reserve for stitching. Now sew them in the form of a cross in a square (i.e. first you need to sew a square, then a cross inside it) with a strong thread. Sewing the straps, be sure to check them for strength.
Step 5
So, you need to learn how to swing on the horizontal bar as much as possible. Put on the straps and start swinging, try to do it as high as possible. In this case, you should not bend your arms at the shoulders, as well as bend your back - you need to keep it straight. You can only bend your legs at the beginning of the training, because ideally, the body should be fully erect.
Step 6
You will need diligence and perseverance. If the trick doesn't work at first, try again and again. To make the "sun" easier, start swinging from the front stop. When you reach an upright stance during the exercise, you may be intimidated at first. Here you will need to overcome your fear and make an attempt (or several attempts) to "roll over" to the other side of the horizontal bar.
Step 7
When you manage to "throw" your body over the horizontal bar, you can congratulate yourself: you have made the "sun". However, do not limit yourself to just one turn, do the exercise in series. The more episodes you can do, the better the trick will be. It is advisable that you train daily - this way you will quickly achieve the desired result and consolidate it. Do not stop there, combine the "sun" with other elements performed on the horizontal bar.
