Fingerboarding is a new popular entertainment for young people. One of the most important components of this type of hobby is the ramp. If you haven't got one yet, it's time to create a park at home. On the ramp, you can do many different tall and beautiful tricks.
Necessary
- - fiberboard sheet,
- - wooden blocks,
- - corners for fastening,
- - nails,
- - tools,
- - a cylindrical object,
- - rope,
- - heavy object (brick).
Instructions
Step 1
Saw out a rectangle from the fiberboard of the desired size. Now you will need to fold the resulting rectangle. In order to do this, wet the fiberboard sheet with warm water, so that the entire sheet becomes wet.
Step 2
Take a cylindrical object, such as a three-liter jar. Press the sheet against the jar while folding it. Bend the sheet until you have a 90-degree angle. Now the ramp has already begun to take shape.
Step 3
Secure the shape that the ramp has taken. To do this, take the rope and tie the ramp.
Step 4
Place the ramp with the folded ends on the floor. To prevent the ramp from arching, place a heavy object, such as a brick, on top. You can also attach the ramp to the tumble dryer. In this position, the ramp should dry for about 12 hours.
Step 5
Make supports. Take wood blocks and brackets. Decide what height of the ramp you need, measure it. Saw off the bars of the desired size, there should be 4 of them. We advise you to make the height of the supports 0.5 cm below what you measured. This is necessary in order to give a certain tension.
Step 6
Create surfaces from which you are going to slide into the ramp. Saw out pieces of a 10-11 cm long block. Saw out a sheet of fiberboard, its length should be the same as the width of the ramp, and the width of the sheet should be the same as the length of the block.
Step 7
Pin the canvas to the supports if it is already dry. If the ramp is large, call your friends for help. Nail the ramp to the supports only from the top side.
Step 8
Start collecting what we prepared in the previous step. Pin the fiberboard to the bars. Nail the resulting shelf to the ramp.
Step 9
Measure the length and width of the resulting ramp. Saw out the fiberboard ramp base to size. On this basis, you can secure it with supports.
