Even serious professional athletes do not ride without knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and a helmet. Remember to also fasten your skates tightly, but not tightly. Take the correct stance: push one leg forward on a half-skate, tilt the body slightly forward, spread your legs shoulder-width apart and bend slightly at the knees. Correct positioning of your feet will help you maintain balance and avoid falling after an accidental object falls under the wheel. Step 6

Don't roll in puddles. Water, mud and sand falling under the platform and in the bearings can damage the rollers in a few hours. So much so that even the wheels on skates will stop turning. Therefore, avoid puddles or walk on foot so that the wheels do not rotate. After forcing a puddle on foot, shake off the wheels by tapping the rollers on the asphalt.
