One of the main advantages of a striker in hockey is the ability to perform feints. Combined with mastery of the club, good skating and aiming puck throws from different parts of the court, performing feints will allow you to bypass opponents and score the puck into the opponent's goal.

Step 1
Remember that feints are two phases of movement: false and true. The first phase makes the opponent believe in the truthfulness of the movement and react to it, and the second - quickly carry out a true movement in order to free himself from the opponent's tutelage.
Step 2
Begin tricking exercises without the puck. Pay particular attention to maintaining balance and changing speed while doing them. After developing these skills, focus on developing effective use of the opponent's response. Combine them with a counter every time.
Step 3
At the initial stage of training, do exercises for mastering feints with a passive opponent. Then improve your opponent's active resistance techniques in games.
Step 4
Move in a column without a washer. At the signal from the trainer, sharply tilt your torso and return to the starting position. Then do the same exercise with a stick. First, tilt to one side, then to the other.
Step 5
Carry out the same actions with overcoming obstacles. To do this, place racks or invite defenders who must move towards you in a column one by one.
Step 6
Practice running with acceleration and stopping on signal. Run again, and as soon as the signal arrives, make a circular motion with the club around the puck and dash with it.
Step 7
The opponent should attack you, and you, having made a movement with the stick, supposedly directed to pass the puck to the partner to the right, should quickly circle the opponent on the left.
Step 8
Also practice the following technique: the opponent who caught up with you should try to take the puck, and you will begin to slow down, indicating that you want to stop and go in the opposite direction. After the opponent has reacted, start and walk away in the direction of the original movement. These exercises allow you to successfully perform feints with a change in direction.
