Experts recommend observing exactly these intervals between meals. You need to have dinner no later than 7 pm. If you have a strong need for a later snack, drink a glass of low-fat kefir.

Step 2

The main meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner. A morning snack is a must, even if you're not used to eating after getting up. Lunch should contain a full complement of nutrients: low-fat soup, cereal or vegetables, diet meats (game, rabbit, chicken breast), or lean fish. This will give your body the full amount of protein, complex carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and fiber. For dinner, you can cook steamed vegetables, stewed, boiled and a slice of lean meat or fish. A salad made from any fresh vegetables, except for carrots (contains glucose), seasoned with balsamic vinegar, soy sauce or vegetable oil, will do.

Be sure to have 2-3 snacks throughout the day. Dairy products, fresh fruits (only until 3 pm), nuts, dried fruits (3-4 pieces) are suitable as a separate meal.

Be sure to drink about 2 liters of liquid daily: pure water, broth, green tea. Coffee is not a liquid; its consumption should be kept to a minimum. If you can't wake up in the morning without caffeine, then replace it with 3-4 pieces of dark chocolate. It is better to gradually abandon sugar and replace it with stevia (sold in special dietary departments). You should not completely remove salt from food, as this can adversely affect the functioning of the body.
