If you decide to set a record for push-ups, first you need to decide what kind of push-ups you are going to do. You can do push-ups just from the floor, or you can do it from the uneven bars. You can do push-ups while standing on one hand, on your fists, on your toes, with straight legs, or on your knees.
Instructions
Step 1
Having decided on the type of push-ups, you should consider what specific record you would like to set - world, personal, or, for example, among your friends. Further, it is worth deciding on the conditions - whether you will do push-ups for a while (who is faster), experiencing endurance (who is longer) or the amount (who is more).
Step 2
If you do not want to limit yourself to personal records or records among friends, it is worth finding out what kind of push-up records exist in the world. For example, the famous English record holder for push-ups Paddy Doyle, who was able to push up 4100 times, while a box weighing 23 kilograms was tied to his back. He also owns other records. He managed to do 7860 push-ups in a row, he can do 1700 push-ups per hour, and 37,000 times per day.
Step 3
Practically all muscles of the human body are involved in push-ups. However, only two of them - the chest and triceps perform dynamic work to change the position of the body, and the rest are tense statically - with their help, the body can keep upright.
Step 4
There are the following types of push-ups from the floor:
1) Push-ups with a narrow setting of arms. Such push-ups act mainly on the triceps and the inner region of the pectoral muscles.
2) Push-ups with wide arms, aimed at the middle of the pectoral muscles.
3) Head-up push-ups, when the legs are set higher in relation to the head, force the upper pectoral muscles to work.
4) Knee push-ups - a lightweight version of push-ups.
5) Push-ups with a jump.
6) Push-ups on one hand.
Step 5
If you set yourself the goal of becoming a push-up record holder, decide exactly how you want to do push-ups, what results to achieve, train hard, and you will achieve what you want.
