Football Euroseason 2017 - 2018 promises to be very interesting. In the main European club competition, eight quartets have been formed, the participants of which will compete for a place in the playoffs of the UEFA Champions League. Following the results of the previous season, England deligated five teams in the 26th Champions League, the Spaniards - four, Italians, Portuguese and Germans - three each. The special attention of the Russian football fans was concentrated on the rivals of the Moscow CSKA and “Spartak”.

Group A

The first quartet of the group stage of the 2017-2018 Champions League does not look as menacing as the rest of the groups. It includes the Portuguese Champion Benfica Lisbon, the winner of the previous UEFA Europa League draw, Manchester United, Swiss Basel and CSKA Moscow.

Group B

The first two teams of the second quartet may well claim victory in the Champions League. They were the German grand from Munich "Bavaria" and the team from the capital of France PSG. The eminent rivals will be accompanied by the Belgian “Anderlecht” and the multiple champion of Scotland, a team with which it is very difficult to play away for absolutely everyone, “Celtic”.

Group C

The first three clubs from Group C may well qualify for a place in the playoffs, because in this quartet the fans will again face fierce confrontations between English, Spanish and Italian clubs. This time, by the will of lot in one group were London “Chelsea”, Madrid “Atletico” and the Roman “Roma”. The titled and eminent teams will be accompanied by the tournament debutant Azerbaijani "Karabakh".

Group D

In Group D, fans will be able to see a two-time repetition of one of the previous finals of the tournament: the Italian champion of the last six years, Juventus Turin, will play with Barcelona, Catalan. Most likely, these are the clubs and will continue to fight for the trophy in the playoffs, because the rest of the rivals were much more modest Greek “Olympiacos” and Portuguese “Sporting”.

Group E

Group E was headed by the current Champion of Russia, Moscow "Spartak". The rivals of the “red-white” draw determined the Spanish “Sevilla”, English “Liverpool” and Slovenian “Maribor”. The composition of this quartet allows Russian fans to hope for the European Cup spring stage.

Group F

In group F, spectators will face a confrontation between the Italian “Napoli” and the “townspeople” from Manchester. Recall that a few years ago, Manchester City and “Napoli” have already played in the same group of the Champions League. The other two teams of this four were Shakhtar Donetsk and Feyenord Dutch.

Group G

Group G turned out to be the smoothest of all eight quartets. All teams will have the chances of reaching the playoff stage. Among them were the Champion of France “Monaco”, the Portuguese “Porto”, the Turkish “Besiktas”, as well as the opening of the last season of the Bundes League “RB Leipzig”.

Group H

The last quartet was headed by the most titled European football club - Real Madrid. The rivals in the cream group will be footballers from Borussia Dortmund, London's Tottenham Hotspur and Cypriots from the Apoel club.
