Snow is dangerous for its unpredictability when there is a lot of it and you are in an area different from the usual streets of your city. It is useful to know some important points when moving on snow.

Use other support points in addition to your feet, such as an ice ax or ski poles. Also, avoid moving in places where the snow is more saturated with moisture. Such areas include a snowy hollow, a circus, a trough.

Avoid stepping on snow near overhanging rocks as rocks heat up faster and the surrounding snow melts quickly. In addition, falling into the snow near a stone carries the risk of injury.
Step 3
Move with sliding steps. To do this, lift your toes slightly and move your feet so that they slide over the snow.
Step 4
In especially dangerous and sinking areas, push the snow to some depth and then tamp it in front of you. Continue these steps as you move forward and avoid the dangerous area. If you have a deep snow hole in front of you, then the best solution would be to get around it. If it is impossible to bypass this failure for some reason, then go down very carefully and make the failure as comfortable as possible. Bring snow from the walls and compact it. This will reduce the depth of the sinkhole and make it less dangerous. Come out of the hole using a stick or ice ax.
Step 5
If you fell into the snow, then put a stick or ice ax and lean on it, try to pull your leg out. If the leg is stuck, in any case do not swing, do not bend or unbend it at the knee. This will tamp down the snow surrounding your foot. Pull your toe out as if you are on tiptoe, and it will be easier for you to pull your leg out. If you are wearing shoes that are easy to remove, then take off your shoes and then dig out the shoes.
Step 6
Do not shake out snow or pour water out of your shoes in places where you are not sure they are reliable. And if you see a shadow somewhere nearby, then go there, as the snow cover will be denser there.
