Airsoft is, in other words, a "war" game for adults. What is its essence and how to play it?

Step 1
Airsoft is a military team sports game. Players use the most accurate copies of real weapons, usually these are electro-pneumatic assault rifles, battery operated and referred to as "drive" among airsoft players. For shooting, plastic 6-mm balls are used. Hitting the opponent is not registered by anyone, since there are no judges in airsoft and no victory points. The struck enemy admits that he was hit, and he goes to a place specially designated for such cases. The rules of the game regulate the time after which the players can return to the playing field. Thus, the main difference between airsoft and other war games is honesty. In paintball, for example, players shoot paint balls, so the hit is pretty obvious. Plastic balls for airsoft do not leave visible marks on clothes.
Step 2
At least two teams take part in the training camp, the number of players is not limited. Some teams simulate the army of a country, while observing the maximum accuracy in the choice of uniforms and weapons, depending on the type of troops, season, and so on. The choice of the polygon is limited only by the imagination of the organizers of the game. The action can take place in the mountains or steppe, in the forest, in an abandoned building or at a construction site. Not only people can be involved in the game, but also their dogs. Some games are played using real combat techniques. Depending on the purpose and type of the game, an airsoft battle can take a time interval from 1 - 2 to 48 hours. The tasks and the theme of the game are developed in advance: it can be the capture of the enemy base or even a historical reconstruction, when a real battle is simulated, observing all the details from the form of the participants to the number of victims and a predetermined ending. A branch of airsoft deserves special attention, the so-called stalkerstrike - a game based on the literary work "Stalker", imitating the world of anomalies in the Exclusion Zone, formed as a result of the Chernobyl disaster.
Step 3
You can enter the airsoft environment and become a player through a special website or airsoft community on social networks. Equipment is purchased in specialized airsoft and tourist shops, military stores and so on.
There is an age limit in the Airsoft Rules: persons under the age of eighteen are not allowed to participate in the games. Also, the Rules prescribe a number of other restrictions related to the norms of behavior during the game, as well as the firing power of airsoft weapons.
