Step 1
If you have weakened muscles in your arms and back, it is difficult for you to push-ups from the floor, start with the simplest type of exercises that absolutely anyone can do. Stand one meter from the wall, place your hands on it as wide as possible. Begin to bend your elbows, spreading them to the sides, tilt your body to the wall. The back should be straight, do not bend the body, only arms should work here. Repeat this exercise as many times as possible and move on to the next level.
Step 2
For the next exercise, you will need some kind of support, it can be a chair, bench, or a gymnastic ball. Put your hands on a support, your torso should be in an even horizontal line, keep your back straight, rest your toes on the floor. Only hands work, the body remains motionless. All these exercises will help you quickly get closer to your cherished goal - to learn how to do push-ups.
Step 3
Get on your knees, cross your legs together, put your hands on the floor. The back should be straight, do not lift the buttocks. Start lowering slowly, your head should be looking at the floor. It may be very difficult for you to do this exercise, but gradually building up strength, you will only progress. Remember, the main thing here is technique, so it is better to do it right a few times than many times anyhow. Therefore, if you are not yet ready for this level of push-ups, go back to the previous one. As soon as you can do push-ups in this way twenty times, you can safely move on to full-fledged push-ups from the floor.
Step 4
So, straighten your back, never bend it or move your hips, rest your palms on the floor. Slowly lower yourself, spread your elbows to the sides. Watch for correct breathing: when lowering, inhale, when you begin to rise up - exhale. Jog to get the correct breathing. The next step for you can be push-ups on your fists or fingers.
