Georgy Cherdantsev was born on February 1, 1971 in Moscow. His parents worked as researchers at Moscow State University, where they spent most of their time, therefore, it was mainly his grandmother who was involved in the upbringing of George. In 1992, the future commentator graduated from Moscow State University, but, unlike his parents, did not work at the university.
At this time, the brilliant career of a football expert was still very far away. Georgy managed to work in the tourism business, in the field of banking services and even as a loader. He mastered his last profession when he lived in Istanbul, near the cargo port. At the same time, by profession, the future star is a teacher of foreign languages, as well as a translator.
Cherdantsev began his journey to television suddenly for himself. Having been unemployed for a long time, he accidentally saw the contacts of a sports channel on TV and decided to send his resume. They answered him almost immediately, but wondered how tourism and banking skills could be useful on a sports TV channel? However, he was nevertheless taken, and the education he received played an important role.
