A rider's license is a necessary document that gives its owner the right to participate in competitions. Depending on the level of the license, it gives admission to competitions of different levels. The introduction of a licensing system allows you to prevent inexperienced beginners from participating in races, where they can pose a danger to themselves and others.

Step 1
To obtain a license, contact the management of your club or section. Write a statement about what kind of license you want to get. Also ask management for a written recommendation for licensing.
Step 2
In the district sports and physical education dispensary, undergo an examination to obtain a medical certificate that, for health reasons, you have the right to participate in the races of your chosen sport. Such a certificate is usually free of charge or costs a symbolic amount of money. Clinical examination also does not take much time.
Step 3
Prepare for an oral exam. Learn the rules of the competition so that on the exam you can explain them in your own words and give an example of actions in a given situation, referring to the points of the rules.
Step 4
Prepare the necessary personal equipment as required by the regulations. Lack of necessary items of equipment or its inadequacy can become a reason for the non-issuance of a license in many sports. In particular, the kart licensing system is very sensitive to this issue.
Step 5
Conclude an accident insurance contract with your chosen insurance company. Even if the conditions for obtaining a license do not provide for the presence of this document, it will still be required to obtain admission to the competition.
Step 6
Prepare a package of documents - a certificate or a sports medical book, an insurance policy, a recommendation from the club, a passport, photographs. Contact the main commission of the auto union, pass the necessary exams and get a ready-made low-level license.
Step 7
To obtain a license of a higher level, a certain sporting experience is required. Take part in competitions, trying to prove yourself as a disciplined racer, avoiding dangerous and emergency situations on the track. In addition, for licenses at the international level, a contract with one of the existing teams or inclusion in the Russian national team is required.
