Those who run with great pleasure in good weather are not very happy to go jogging in the rain. And in vain. Running in the rain can be a double joy - you keep fit and at the same time enjoy the clean, rain-washed air. You just need to dress so as not to get wet from head to toe.
Instructions
Step 1
You can only run in the rain if you have the right outfit. What to wear for a run depends on the ambient temperature and rainfall. In the blind summer rain, you can not wear anything special, staying in your usual training clothes, which will dry out before you can get home.
Step 2
If it's windy outside, and only a couple of drops occasionally fall from the sky, you will need a good windbreaker in the form of a light vest. It will keep the body warm by protecting it from the cold air; remaining bare hands will naturally prevent the body from overheating.
Step 3
The colder the weather and the heavier the rain, the more rapidly the need for a thick, waterproof jacket increases. You should not dwell on the cheap option, it is better to overpay a little, but take high-quality clothing that not only does not get wet, but is also able to breathe. Otherwise, after a couple of hundred meters you will feel like a bathhouse. Outside, wet with rain, inside with sweat. Regular jackets are not very suitable for running, as a rule, they are quite thick, but if nothing else is at hand, you can try what will come of it.
Step 4
As for shoes, wet feet cannot be avoided. Do not wear rubber boots for jogging, and ordinary sneakers will still get wet to one degree or another. Since your feet will be in constant motion, hypothermia will not threaten you, but be prepared for calluses that easily appear when shoes rub against damp skin. You can pre-stick a waterproof patch on vulnerable spots, which will reduce the likelihood of injuring your legs.
Step 5
If you wear glasses, you will need a hat with a large visor, such as a baseball cap, to run in the rain. It will protect the glass from falling drops, keep you visibility of the path, save you from small troubles like getting your foot into a puddle. And even if you have excellent eyesight, do not neglect the hat in cold weather. A wet head in combination with low temperatures contributes to a weakening of the immune system, which means that it costs absolutely nothing to get sick in this regard.
