Yoga is a system that includes gymnastics, health promotion exercises, philosophy and spiritual practices. Those who are just starting to practice yoga, first of all, need the correct skills of setting and breathing accordingly.
Instructions
Step 1
For the greatest effect of the exercises, do not do asanas (postures) after sleep and before going to bed. For 4 hours, do not exercise after a heavy meal, and for 1, 5-2 hours - after a light meal.
Step 2
Before starting classes, try to forget about all your worries and worries, relax and not think about anything other than yoga. To make it easier for yourself, you can turn on quiet, light music.
Step 3
To learn yoga, do not immediately strive to learn as many exercises as possible, but master the keys to each of them. As you master these keys, you will find muscles that can be released while maintaining position. It is then that each new posture will turn from an uncomfortable position into an asana (which in translation means "comfortable posture").
Step 4
First of all, master the pose of the mountain, from which all sets of exercises begin: put your legs together (at the same time, the feet should touch along the entire length), tighten the muscles of the thighs, straighten your back, lower your hands with palms facing inward along the body. Raise your head slightly and look straight ahead, concentrating on the center of your body. It takes 1-2 minutes to stay in this position.
Step 5
As with any activity, to learn yoga, you must start with the lightest of exercises. Therefore, to begin with, study the posture of the plow, triangle, tree, snake, candle and corpse, which, despite the simplicity of their implementation, provide invaluable benefits to the body.
Step 6
Do each pose slowly, while trying to focus on how it feels.
Step 7
Monitor your breathing carefully. When you inhale, vital energy enters the body, and when you exhale, toxins are removed from the body. During exercise, breathe calmly and try to lengthen the exhalation (for example, you can pronounce the syllable "haaaa").
