As reported on the official website of the organizers fan-id.ru, the FAN ID (its second name is FAN ID) is the most important spectator certificate of the upcoming World Cup.
To go to any of the events, each spectator of the World Championship must:
1. Buy a personalized ticket, 2. Apply for a FAN ID.
What other privileges does FAN ID provide?
FAN ID:
- Purchase tickets for FIFA 2018 matches in two clicks via FIFA.com/bilet;
- free tickets for fans' trains are booked through transport2018.com;
- foreign citizens and stateless people are exempt from visa processing and can enter the country for the entire period of the Confederations Cup events, foreign fans are given 10 days of visa-free stay before the start and 10 days after the end of the world tournament.
FAN ID is a registered document. It is issued free of charge if you have bought at least one ticket to any of the World Championship games.
The document should be taken care of in advance. It will take several days to produce the document.
FAN ID is issued in two ways:

An online fan must fill out a questionnaire, indicate the ticket number, passport details of the citizen and attach his own photo. After 72 hours, the FAN ID is confirmed by the security service. The printed document is issued at 10 issuing centers in the cities of the Confederations Cup or sent by mail.
2.
The addresses of the places of issue in the cities of the World Championship can be clarified by calling 8-800-775-2018 or at fan-id.ru. Registration at the center includes filling out a written application, photographing a fan, checking an identity document.
Foreign nationals will receive their FAN ID by post or at any VFS Global Visa Application Center.
