Shooting is also a sport that many people are fond of, and it is also an important component of hunting. Step 1
Find a shooting sports section in your city. Determine which type of shooting interests you the most - using a rifle, small bore pistol, or revolver (large bore pistol). Each type of weapon has its own characteristics of training and separate standards. If you want to get a discharge in shooting from a rifle, then you should learn to shoot with it.
Step 2
Before signing up for the standards, consult with your coach. He will tell you if you are ready to qualify or if additional classes are required.
Step 3
Sign up for a discharge. To do this, select the category for which type of weapon and what level you want to get. If you don’t have a grade yet, you will test for the third - basic grade. If you are under eighteen years old, then you can only get a youth grade. For him, lightweight standards are provided.
Step 4
Start preparing for the test. For self-testing, use the table of standards for each grade, which can be found in your sports club or on the websites of sports associations. They also take into account the age and gender of the participant, for women the norms are lower. Use the advice of a trainer for better preparation.
Step 5
In addition to getting a category by passing standards, you can get it during shooting competitions. Sign up and take part in the competition. For this, the competition must meet certain requirements. To receive one of the youth categories, at least 12 athletes must participate in it. To obtain an adult category, participants from at least three sports teams must be represented at the competition.
To participate in a competition, it may also be necessary to qualify within your sports section. Tell the coach about your desire to participate, and he will decide on your admission to the competition.
