They say the eyes are the mirror of the soul. But all our face traces of life experiences remain. Excessive tension affects the condition of the muscles of the face and the general tone of the body.
Instructions
Step 1
Our habits in dealing with people are transformed into the habits of the body. Someone is used to frowning, doubting, indignant - take a closer look at people and see how the tension is fixed on their face: knitted eyebrows, pursed lips, narrowed eyes. Sometimes it is difficult to get rid of stress, even if a person is aware of it.
Step 2
Tension arises from the constant stress that our body and mind are exposed to. Try to change your lifestyle, devote more time to yourself, your rest and relaxation. Get in the habit of taking a hot bath for at least 10 minutes every night. Air vapor has a beneficial effect on the skin and relieves tension. In the bath or lying in bed after a hard day, cover your eyes, but do not close them completely. Just release the muscles that support the eyelids. Slowly walk your attention point by point. Relax your cheeks and ears, scalp. Pay attention to whether the forehead muscles are pinched, whether the point between the eyebrows is relaxed. Relax the muscles around your eyes and calm your eyes by stopping them in one place. Move mentally to the nose. Fix your attention on the tip of the nose, then relax the bridge of the nose and nostrils. Relax your upper and lower lips, tongue, and lower jaw. Your whole face is like a motionless, frozen mask. You feel how cold air passes through the nostrils as you inhale, and as you exhale it, heated, tickles the upper lip in a thin stream. Imagine how light and radiance streaming down your face, how with each exhalation, tension is released from your body. Your muscles are so relaxed that they run down your face. Repeat this exercise every night. Pre-squeeze the muscles with all your strength, curl your face, hold your breath for a few seconds and release the tension with a loud exhalation.
Step 3
Acupressure your face in the morning before applying makeup, in the evenings before bed, or even at lunchtime. Try to relax and not think about anything. Start massaging tense areas in the following order:
1 point between the eyebrows;
2 area of the bridge of the nose above the inner corners of the eyes. Lightly rub up and down the area between points 1-2;
3 outer edges of the upper eyelids - under the eyebrows;
4 outer corners of the eyes;
5 central points under the eyes: massage the cheekbones with four fingers, fingering them to the temples;
6 Massage the forehead from a point above the center of the eyebrow to the hairline;
7 from hairline to temples;
8 from the temples move along the growth of the hair, rising behind the ears;
9 massage of the mouth from the center under the nose to the corners of the lips;
10 point at the base of the skull on the back of the neck. Move from it to your ears with light patting movements;
11 the center of the chin under the lower lip;
12 the whole face, lightly patting with your fingertips.
Step 4
Soak your face with aromatic oils once a week. Match the oil to your skin type, taking into account individual preferences. Dissolve a few drops of lavender, jasmine, ylang-ylang, patchouli, or any other oil with a soothing effect in boiling water. Consider the dosage of oil, this information is always written in the instructions. Cover your head with a towel and breathe in the aromatic steam for a few minutes. Do not use face cream this evening.
Step 5
Be constantly aware. Watch your face as well as your posture. As soon as you remember about it, relax your muscles. Gradually it will become a habit for you. A calm expression and a light smile will help you cope with difficulties.
