If you already know how to swim quite well, then it's time to learn how to dive well. This skill can be very useful later and even save a life. The main thing is to carry out persistent daily training, and you will learn to dive as well as others.
Instructions
Step 1
First, learn not to close your eyes underwater. Try to fully submerge yourself in the water, raise your hand and look at it. There is nothing wrong with water getting into your eyes, because even salt water will not irritate. It is best to try this exercise while swimming in a regular body of water.
Step 2
If you already know how to open your eyes in water, then try the following: go down to the bottom of a shallow reservoir and find a white object left at the bottom earlier. Bend over, stretch your legs and, diving headfirst, try to get the object from the bottom. Difficulties may arise at first, but then everything will work out.
Step 3
Swim a few meters from the white object and dive from the surface of the water towards it. It may be difficult to submerge the torso in the water, but to successfully overcome the problem, simply raise your legs higher. Your weight will help you sink into the water.
Step 4
Next, you need to understand how long you know how to stay under water. Scuba diving is very similar to normal diving. But the buoyancy force can interfere. Try to keep your legs higher than your head, and direct your strokes down and forward.
Step 5
It is also important to keep a straight course when diving. Try to swim and look to the shore where there are certain landmarks to learn how to swim as straight as possible.
Step 6
To improve your diving skills, try to make the exercises harder every day. For example, throw a few notable objects into the water and try to find them in one dive. You can also throw any object from the boat and dive after it, trying to get this object even before it touches the bottom.
Step 7
Please note that during normal diving, you also need to enter the water correctly and beautifully. The problem for beginners in diving is that they are simply scared to go headfirst into the water. As a result, they fall into the water in a layer and receive tangible blows from the whole body.
Step 8
To get started, learn to dive from the shore, where the water is almost equal to it. Bend very low, extend your arms over your head and slide into the water. Gradually, you need to increase the height of the coast and try to dive in a jump head first. As a result, you have to learn to jump into the water from a running start.
