A huge number of people usually gather at the Olympics. They all need to be accommodated, conducted and consulted, and this requires assistants. And in this regard, special organizations and companies are being created. One of them is called the organizing committee - an organization engaged in the preliminary preparation and holding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi. Pre-selection of candidates for the organizing committee
Pre-selection is made by the foreign company Adecco. Everyone comes to the office of the company and is interviewed. Interviews are conducted by the head of the company and the personnel officer. One of the varieties of such an interview is testing for knowledge of foreign languages, which consists of several stages, and the degree of assimilation of numerical and oral information. All these negotiations are taking place over a long period of time. After the end of all negotiations, the waiting for a decision follows. During this time, each applicant is checked by the security service. If your candidacy was approved, then he, along with the rest of the organizers, goes to the Olympics.
How does the organizing committee work?
The organizing committee has a huge number of responsibilities. These include: securing funding for various events, monitoring to provide timely assistance to guests and participants, and so on.
It consists of several leading links:
- the leading link - ensures the implementation of various tasks set by the superiors;
- the observing link - makes decisions on the organization and holding of the Olympic Games, for example, the accommodation of guests and athletes, the installation of the necessary equipment for any type of sports competition;
- public link - helps to get settled with maximum comfort and solves all the problems that guests have, for example, lack of water or stale linen;
- the economic link - monitors the correct expenditure of funds;
- service link - employees involved in cooking, cleaning and other household chores.
The work of the organizing committee is carried out around the clock and in shifts. Its building is located next to the competition site.
