To coordinate their work, as well as to control the quality of preparation for the Olympics, special governing bodies have been created.
Under the guise of the abbreviation IOC hides a special authority for the World Olympic Games. These letters are deciphered only as the International Olympic Committee. In addition to such a meeting, there is also a subsidiary body that has a kind of power and is assembled from authoritative participants in the event of a debate on some issues related to the holding of the Olympics in various seasons.

The IOC was officially formed and entrenched in its power several decades ago at the well-known Paris congress, whose main task was not only to discuss, but also to resolve issues directly focused on sports, physical education and the upbringing of a new generation. In the future, the IOC not only headed, but also assumed the responsibility for organizing and conducting such a grandiose intercontinental holiday as the Olympic Games.
The IOC directly develops and coordinates the programs of the winter and summer Olympics, determines all sports that, for objective reasons, will be included or will not be included in the list of competitions of such a high class, and actively promotes the Olympic movement itself.
At least six years before the start of the planned Olympics, the IOC will agree on the settlement that will become the Olympic home and host the participants of the Olympics. Among other things, the committee resolves controversial technical and other issues related to the awarding of awards and the determination of the readiness of the leading sports grounds.
The IOC is called upon to resolve such universal issues as discrimination against athletes of different races and genders, monitor compliance with ethics, fight doping, drugs prohibited by law and other all kinds of abuse.
The International Committee not only publishes its own sports magazine, but also makes significant profits from the exercise of exclusive rights to video broadcast and show games. It is these funds that are used as the main budget for the games and make up the lion's share of donations for the development of sports, all kinds of sports movements.
JRC - Joint Working Committee
The Joint Working Committee is a special body of independent authority, assembled specifically to resolve issues directly related to the correct conduct of the Olympic Games. Only he is a kind of mediator between the supreme authority of the Olympics and the sports federation, claiming to represent their species as Olympic.
The ROC develops working versions and approves the statutes of sports societies, monitors the observance of the rules and the absence of discrimination and all kinds of other infringements of the rights of athletes by the Olympic Committee and other organizations.
