It often happens that a sudden cold or flu throws a person into the rhythm of sports training. In such cases, there is annoyance and a desire to continue working, but most doctors agree that training during viral diseases is not useful and even dangerous.

Instructions
Step 1
The most common illness that happens to humans has been and remains viral respiratory diseases: colds and flu. Despite the seeming safety of these diseases, it is recommended to stop during them all heavy physical activity (work or sports training).
Influenza and acute respiratory viral infections are characterized by high fever, aches and pains of the body and internal organs. The body already feels a huge load (high temperature affects the state of the heart, blood vessels, internal organs), therefore, increasing it with physical exercises will exhaust the body even more. At any stage of the flu, physical activity should be reduced to a minimum, excluding not only training, but almost all physical activity. Otherwise, complications in the heart, kidneys, lungs are possible, which will be more difficult to get rid of than from the viral disease itself.
Step 2
The common cold, by and large, does not carry dangerous consequences. You can go in for sports at any stage of the disease, if there is no temperature and discomfort in the body (except for a runny nose). Professional athletes have a separation principle: if discomfort is felt above the neck, you can exercise, if below - throughout the body - then you should stop training until you recover.
Step 3
Do not forget that while exercising in the gym during an epidemic, you can infect other people, since often gyms are not ventilated after exercise and the infection gets into a warm, humid environment that is comfortable for it.
Step 4
With exacerbations of chronic diseases, training is strictly prohibited. Playing sports during this time can aggravate health problems (especially when it comes to diseases of the lungs and cardiovascular system). It is necessary to wait for the improvement of the body's condition and only then start classes according to the principle "from small to large", gradually increasing the load on the body. The same principles work for postoperative recovery (recovery time depends on the complexity of the operation, it is better to start training after the permission of the attending physician).
Step 5
It is better to start training after suffering illnesses gradually, without making sudden jerks. After a cold, you can start training on the 5-7th day of recovery, after the flu it is better to lie down for another 1-2 weeks, no less. Physical activity at this time is best done in walking, cycling, and calm swimming. It is not recommended to immediately try to "catch up" teammates.
