The basis of all learning is trial and error. In ice skating, bumps, dislocations and far from professional somersaults are added to it. To learn how to ride backwards, you must first of all master the classic sliding technique.
It is necessary
figure or hockey skates
Instructions
Step 1
Master the classic skating course.
Put one leg straight, the other - jogging - fix at an external angle of 45 degrees. Bend your knees slightly, bring the body forward a little. After the push, the body weight is transferred to the other leg, which was standing (and now riding) straight. When the speed of movement decreases, the foot on which you are riding becomes jogging, etc.
Step 2
Reverse is very similar to classic skating, but different in that you need to do the opposite. Stand with your back to movement. Select your jogging leg and bring it to the starting position at a 45-degree angle. Shift your torso forward slightly and bend your knees. Push off and maintain balance with 70% of the weight on the supporting leg and 30% on the clean and jerk. Change the order of your legs.
Step 3
The take-off and the ride itself should not be sharp, but smooth, as if arcing. That is, the push and all subsequent movements, replacing each other, should not only resemble the technique of weaving "pigtails from the inside", but also the rounded edging of the braid itself.
