Volleyball is one of the most popular team ball games. Learning to play volleyball is not that difficult. The main thing is to learn the basic rules and practice a little. Usually novice players learn the general rules, and everything else is learned by them directly on the volleyball field.

The essence of the game is simple - to throw the ball to the opponent's zone

Instructions

Step 1

Volleyball can be beach and classic. In classic volleyball, a team can play up to 12 people. Beach volleyball is played by two.

Step 2

Classic volleyball, in turn, is subdivided into:

- Mini volleyball (children up to 14 years old play);

- Pioneerball (it is allowed to take the ball in hand);

- Actually, volleyball (with a net);

- Kertball (instead of a net, a solid opaque fabric is stretched);

- Fistball (a rope is pulled instead of a net).

Step 3

The upper edge of the net is usually set at a height of 2.43 m (this is for men) or 2.44 m (for women). The ball is round, of one color or light color, or a combination. Ball diameter - 65-67 cm, weight - 260-280 g. The classic form of a volleyball player: a T-shirt with shorts, socks, sports shoes.

Step 4

The ball is sent by a blow of the hand through the net so that it hits any place on the opponent's court. The ball thrown from behind the net must be transported back, preventing it from falling on your side of the playing field. Each team has only three touches of the ball while it is on the side of one or another team. A fourth touch of the ball is also possible when blocking.

Step 5

The game begins with the serve of the ball, which is alternately thrown from one side of the court to the other until it falls on or off the field, or until one of the teams violates the rules. One such period of playing time from whistle to whistle is called a rally.

Step 6

The point is awarded to the team that wins the rally. In modern volleyball, a maximum of five games are played per game, each with 25 points. If the team receiving the ball wins the rally, it receives a point and the right to serve, and all its players move clockwise one position. By the way, according to the old rules, each game was scored up to 15 points. In this case, the transition of the serve was not considered a point.
