Instructions
Step 1
The annual Moscow May cross in Bitsa is the championship of the sports club "Alfa-Bitsa" - an individual track and field cross at a distance of 10 km. The competition is held with a distance age handicap - before reaching the main distance, participants must overcome an additional distance. Its length depends on the age of the athletes. There is a separate 5 km race for children.
Step 2
Everyone is allowed to participate, because the purpose of the competition is to popularize cross-country as the most accessible mass sport. However, there are still some limitations. The participant must be in good health and fitness. Responsibility for their health and physical fitness before the start of the competition is certified by a personal signature. In addition, it is important to follow the rules of participation. Places at the distance are determined by the order of arrival at the finish line in the preliminary standings separately among men and women.
Step 3
Preliminary applications for participation are accepted through the website of the Alfa-Bitsa club. In the application, you must indicate the last name, first name, date of birth, city and subject of the Federation, contact information - phone number, email, as well as sports qualifications and the club, if any. Also, an application can be submitted directly on the day of the cross: before the start of the competition in the club's premises. The race is funded through voluntary contributions and entry fees from participants. The entry fee for preliminary application is 200 rubles, for application on the day of the competition - 300 rubles. Children participate in the race free of charge.
