Children often damage their rackets when playing badminton. The strings suffer the most - they break or sag, the shuttlecock begins to get stuck between them. In such cases, the strings are most often completely changed, but if their integrity is not in doubt, it makes sense to simply re-tighten.

Step 1

Free the racket from the strings to be replaced and wipe it off with a damp cloth from dirt and dust, inspect the shaft and rim. If there are damaged cambric, replace them with new ones. For replacement, use the products of such foreign companies as Yonex, Ashaway, Fukuda, Babolat, etc. For one racket you need ten meters of string. Hold the racket in your hands to start weaving. Measure 3.5 m of nylon and thread through the very first hole, then pass the top of the headband through the center holes and pull through the first hole but from the opposite side of the shaft.

Step 2

Stretch 11 longitudinal strings with this remaining piece. Pass the last from the center into the 12th hole and secure, then passing through the 9th and 8th. On the other side of the rim from the remainder of the string, pull 11 longitudinal strings symmetrically. When you pass it through the 10th hole, start pulling the transverse ones, but intertwine them with the longitudinal ones. The transverse and longitudinal strings are stretched slightly and then installed on the machine.

Step 3

Stretch. Place the racket on the working surface of the machine, move the center stops so that they touch the inner surfaces at the rim of the racket. Press the racket tightly with 6 clamps. Move the remaining end of the string with an awl to the very center of the rim, making 2 loops on each side of the rod.

Step 4

At the bottom, fix the center string with the lower clamp, and pull the other remaining center string and fix with the lower clamp. Pull the strings as you wish, but take into account the condition and quality of the racket - you can stretch from 9 to 12 kg. Remember that the transverse force should be greater than that of the longitudinal ones by 0.5-1.0 kg.

Step 5

Stretch the longitudinal strings to the right and left of the racket axis in succession, reach the extreme 11 strings, then pass the free end from below through the 9th hole and intertwine it with the transverse strings, then with force and pull. Pass this end of the string into the 8th hole, tie a circular knot at the transverse string with a double knot and bite off the excess part with a side cutter.

Step 6

Stretch the crossbars. Start from the 10th from the bottom to the 11th from the top, and then pull up to the 7th strings and the four remaining cross strings, but intertwine them with the longitudinal ones. At the latter, thread the end into the 6th hole and tie it around the longitudinal string with a double knot. Bite off the remainder with a side cutter. Free the racket and remove it from the bench.
