Lacrosse has a fairly long history. We can say that this game is much older, for example, the popular football today. The interesting name "lacrosse" comes from French and translates as "hockey stick".

Over the years, the rules of the lacrosse game have evolved, but the essence of the game has remained the same. To play lacrosse, you will need a small field, a goal (1.8 m in height and length), two teams, a small hard rubber ball, crosses (special clubs with a net at the end) and a good mood.

During the game, the teams must score the ball into the opponent's goal using crosses, while a goal is scored when it is scored from outside the circle in which the goal is located.

Lacrosse is designed for both men and women. The rules of the game for men and women are somewhat different. In the men's performance, the team consists of 10 people, during the game strength techniques are allowed (this is the reason for the use of additional attributes in the suit). 12 people play women's lacrosse, and any manifestations of strength are prohibited.

The differences also lie in the fact that the men's lacrosse has four play periods, while the women's lacrosse has two. The duration of the periods is 15 and 25 minutes, respectively.

Today Lacrosse is played in the USA, England, Canada, Australia, and it is gaining more and more popularity.
