Neymar was born in February 1992 and entered the Santos football school at the age of seven. From then until the summer of 2012, he played only for the children's, youth and adult teams of this club. For Brazilian footballers, who are in great demand in the world, this is quite unusual - most of them leave for Europe at a young age. Neymar, on the other hand, gained worldwide fame, playing only in the Brazilian championship.
