But, in the opinion of the responsible employees of the Sochi-2014 Organizing Committee, it is most likely that 400,000 to 600,000 guests, including Russians and foreigners, will come to the capital of the Winter Olympics. Of course, their arrival will be extended in time. Of this huge number of people, athletes, as well as coaching staff, doctors, massage therapists and service workers will make up only a small part. The vast majority of guests will be tourists who have come to cheer for their compatriots and watch the Games.
Considering that the population of Sochi itself is about 370 thousand people, it is easy to understand what the load will be on all city services and infrastructure.
