Gaining body weight for a thin person is a rather difficult process, since sometimes gaining even a couple of kilograms is much harder than losing weight. This is due to either a natural tendency, or illness, or a wrong way of life.
Instructions
Step 1
The first and perhaps most important rule of thumb when gaining weight is to eat as often and in large quantities as possible. Have a meal every two or three hours, supply your body with "building" material. If you want to gain weight, then make sure that you are not hungry.
Step 2
Your food should be protein-carbohydrate, that is, consist of eggs, fish, meat. Of the meat, chicken is the most suitable, it is easily digestible. You also need to include milk and cottage cheese with a high percentage of fat in your diet, fermented baked milk, kefir. Do not forget about fats (for example, try to season salads with olive, sunflower or soybean oil). It is worth noting that not only proteins are important for weight gain, but also carbohydrates, so you should often eat potatoes, pasta, white bread, sweets (honey, sugar, cakes, various baked goods), as well as everything from which you would refuse if they lost weight.
Step 3
However, your diet should not be limited to this, be sure to include fruits and vegetables in it, otherwise all the foods you eat will be poorly absorbed by the body (therefore, there will be little sense from such a diet). Try to eat a few pears, apples, peaches, or oranges a day. For dinner, you need to prepare a salad of carrots, cabbage and other vegetables (choose what you like). In the event that you like muesli, do not avoid them, they will only benefit.
Step 4
If possible, purchase multivitamin or vitamin-mineral complexes at the pharmacy (they should be taken after meals, do not do this on an empty stomach; although you should never have it like that). Remember also that for weight gain, you should consume a sufficient amount of liquid (as much as possible), at least two or three liters per day.
