A well-chosen collective name attracts half of the success. The choice of the word with which each of the participants will be associated must be approached with all seriousness, and even better - with the entire composition.

Step 1
Try to choose a name by drawing lots. Each of the participants writes one or several variants of the name (depending on your number) on identical sheets, folds them, puts them in a bag. Then a person with closed eyes pulls out the first piece of paper that comes across, unfolds it and reads it aloud.
Step 2
If you are choosing a name alone, use the landmarks when choosing the name. First, to which city and institution is the team attached? Perhaps this word will become part of the name, like the already renowned collectives: "Virtuosos of Moscow", "Virtuosi of the Moscow State Pedagogical University," and so on.
Step 3
Write down terms related to the style and direction of your work. They can also become part of the name. Try to translate them into different languages, better known to the whole team.
Step 4
Analyze traits of character, yourself or all participants. Identify a common feature: similarity to the manners of an animal (cat, ermine, bear). Try to imagine yourself with this word, including in translation into other languages.
Step 5
Think about the contingent of the team: average age, gender. Name to use a dictionary, including Russian-Latin.
Step 6
Collect the first letters of the names of the participants and arrange in several orders until you get a word or a surrogate. What you like becomes the title.
