Instructions

Step 1

Buy special training cones at a sports store (they are sold there for about 60 rubles). Place them at the same distance from each other, take 3 meters for an intermediate interval.

Step 2

Using the trajectory of movement slalom ("snake"), circle the exposed cones. When you reach the last cone, go around it and continue to move also towards the first. To complicate the task, place the cones at a smaller distance from each other, or use alternating different gaps between the cones.

Step 3

Watch your dribble technique, make sure that the ball does not bounce too far from you. Keep it under control at all times and do not hit the cones with either the ball or your feet. Use deceptive feints, pretending that each cone is a living person, the defender of the opposing team. Perform feints with both the outer and inner sides of the foot, as well as the instep of the toe and sole.

Step 4

Increase your speed between the cones over time. Try to relax your legs - this way you will be able to control the ball much easier.

Step 5

In open space, dribble the ball, pick up speed and maintain a fast pace of running. Dribble the ball at high speed so that it does not bounce more than two meters away from you. Make frequent touches on the ball, moving it forward.

Step 6

Now change your direction. The whole field is at your disposal - give yourself freedom. Do sharp sideways, and practice stopping and turning with the ball. To turn, do the following: during dribbling, when you reach the ball to pry it with your foot, make a light jump over the ball, stopping it on the fly with your lead foot. After landing, stop abruptly and turn around. Now move in the opposite direction and do the same.

Step 7

Practice with people as well. Practice with your friend who of you will be able to keep the ball under control longer.
