Kickboxing is a rather traumatic sport. Perhaps the easiest and most effective way to protect your hands from injury is to tap. The bandages tighten the joints of the hand, which can reduce the number of injuries. For beginners, it is enough to use elastic bandages 2.5 meters long.

Instructions

Step 1

Typically, bandages are sold rolled up with the Velcro at the top and the thumb loop on the inside. In order to wrap the bandage around your hand, you need to fold it differently. Unwind the bandage to its full length, gently straighten it and place it so that the Velcro pile is at the top and the hooks are at the bottom.

Step 2

Roll the hooked tape into a tight roll and continue winding the bandage, pulling and straightening it slightly. After twisting the entire bandage, place the thumb loop on the roll. It is recommended to store the bandage in this form - it will not unwind during transportation and is completely ready for bandaging.

Step 3

Take the bandage and put the loop over your thumb. Place the roll over the back of your hand. Place it over your wrist and pull it slightly obliquely to the outside of your little finger.

Step 4

Slide the roll between your ring finger and little finger and point it towards your wrist. Wrap around the brush.

Step 5

Guide the bandage from the outside of your wrist obliquely towards your index finger. Wrap your finger, passing the tape between it and the middle one, towards the wrist and wrap it around the arm again.

Step 6

Wrap your ring finger. To do this, slide the bandage between him and the little finger, bring it out from the side of the middle finger, again direct it to the wrist and make a half-turn around the hand.

Step 7

Wrap the middle finger, guiding the tape between it and the index and leading out to the ring finger. Draw the tape to the base of your thumb and wrap it around your wrist.

Step 8

Stretch towards your index finger so that the bandage overlaps your knuckles. Swipe under the palm and bring it out around the little finger. Toss over the knuckles to the thumb and again under the palm.

Step 9

Aim towards the wrist, unwind the Velcro and secure it to the wrist.
