Undoubtedly, the most beautiful and feminine athletes are rhythmic gymnasts. They go out on the carpet for just a minute, first with one object, then with another. But in this short time, they can put on a real show and receive love and recognition. Graceful girls perform a program in which the art of dance and sport have merged. Their outfits are custom-made and decorated with rhinestones. Items for performance are also decorated - for example, a gymnastic hoop. And you can do it yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
There are two types of hoops: metal and plastic. For rhythmic gymnastics, only the second option is used. There are also expensive branded hoops on sale from a thousand rubles and more, and there are also unpretentious ones, costing about a hundred rubles.
Step 2
The first reason the hoops are wrapped is to increase their strength. The tape prevents the deformation to which this gymnastic apparatus is strongly exposed. And, of course, the hoop becomes prettier after that.
Step 3
The winding is matched to the color and pattern of the gymnastic suit and should be in harmony with it. The hoops can be decorated with ribbons of different colors - for example, make one half red, the other yellow. There are many options here - multi-colored ribbons can be alternated after winding a quarter of the hoop, or you can wrap the whole object in one color and put another ribbon on top in a spiral.
Step 4
The ribbon adds extra weight to the hoop. Such a weighted hoop will fly higher after the throw and will not plan, which means it will fall into the intended place. At large competitions, there is even control of the weight of the hoops: if it is lighter or heavier than the standards, the athlete may not be allowed to perform.
Step 5
There are regular and self-adhesive tapes. They are often bought in fabric or flower shops. There are also branded hoop tapes, which are sold in specialized sections of sports stores.
Step 6
So, let's proceed directly to the winding: first fix the end of the tape on the hoop with tape. Then, at an angle of 45 degrees, start wrapping, try to do it tightly, but the turns should not close tightly to each other. After that, be sure to wrap the hoop with tape, it is better to take thin tape. Wind it not at such a sharp angle as the tape, deviate quite a bit from the perpendicular section of the object.
Step 7
We recommend that you wind the adhesive tape not immediately after the turns of the tape, so that you can redo everything if suddenly something does not work out. Tape the tape if you are sure you have achieved the desired result. And one more thing - keep the hoop in a horizontal position so that it does not lose its shape.
