Rational nutrition, adequate sleep, life outside the city in the fresh (relatively) air, the absence of stress will give little to a person if he does not increase his physical activity. Why and why is sport so necessary?

Man is a creature intended by nature itself to lead an active lifestyle. Movement is a determining factor for the normal functioning of all systems of his body. But the modern way of life is by no means conducive to movement. Today, a person can avoid even minimal activity, the need for which is literally "stitched" in his DNA. And lack of movement is fraught with degenerative diseases, the appearance of symptoms of heart disease and diabetes. It is extremely difficult to stay healthy in today's "immobilized" society. There is only one way out: to go in for sports. And it's not just about improving your appearance, which for most is the main motivation for going to the gym. Generally, most people feel very good after exercising. And, even if there is fatigue, this fatigue is completely different from the dull one that appears after hours of sitting at the computer. The secret is that the body reacts to physical activity by improving the processes that are associated with muscle activity and energy production. The body begins to work like a clock - without failures and blues. Sport helps to strengthen the immune system, and with it health, to remain strong, flexible and agile until old age. Plus, sports are a great natural antidepressant. Today, tons of Prozac, sleeping pills, tranquilizers and other drugs for stress and depressed mood are consumed in the world every year. But in many cases, all of them could be replaced by daily moderate exercise in the gym or even a light morning jog in the park. The fact is that training is accompanied by hormonal changes: adrenaline is released into the bloodstream, endorphin is produced, which is considered the "hormone of joy". By the way, this same hormone is a natural pain reliever. Insomnia is excruciating. But you can also fight it through sports. Moderate exertion will make the night sleep deep and the process of falling asleep easy. And, of course, playing sports promotes orderliness and success in life. Developing discipline, the will to win, sport provides invaluable psychological assistance to people who are unsure of themselves and their place under the sun. It seems that the modern world has taken up arms against man, making his existence more and more unhealthy, albeit very convenient. Thanks to technology, a person will soon not need to move at all. And only sports will help him maintain his health.
