Once you have purchased all the equipment you need, set the bindings appropriately and are at the top of the slope waiting for the first descent, you need to properly put on your snowboard.
Necessary
Snowboard board, snowboard boots, bindings, equipment, snow slope
Instructions
Step 1
Stand facing the slope, sit on the ground. If you are afraid of a cold, place some plywood or cardboard underneath. Also for this purpose, a tourist seat is suitable, which is attached at the front with a buckle. Flip the snowboard back with the bindings facing you and clear the boots and bindings of snow and ice.
Step 2
If you have a leash (a special strap that attaches the snowboard to your leg), then use it to tie the attachment to your front leg. This is necessary to comply with safety measures so that the board does not leave you and does not hurt anyone, and the convenience of carrying the snowboard at the end of the ride.
Step 3
Insert the boots into the bindings so that the heel fits snugly against the highback (back). Make sure your foot is comfortable. If the fasteners are soft, fasten the ratchet strap at the ankle. Make sure that the leg is firmly fixed. Then tighten the front strap, but do not overdo it so as not to disrupt blood circulation, otherwise, instead of enjoying snowboarding, you will end up with continuous discomfort and stiff legs.
Step 4
If you are using rigid mounts, you do not need to sit on the snow, just slip the clip on the toe. It will securely fix the boot.
Step 5
For step-in bindings, which are designed for beginners and do not require complex manipulation, insert your foot into the bindings and the buckle will snap into place.
Step 6
Once you've put on your snowboard, get on your feet. If it is convenient for you, does not press anywhere, and you are convinced that the boots are securely fastened to the board, you can start the long-awaited descent. Have a great time!
