The snowboard is purchased. And the soul is already eager to fight. There is only one little thing left - to fasten the fasteners. You can screw the fasteners in the store, there is always a person who does this. However, it is not difficult to do it on your own, and it will take no more than 5 minutes. But in order for both you and your feet to feel comfortable while riding, you need to adhere to several rules.

Necessary

  • - snowboard;
  • - mounts with 8 screws and washers;
  • - large Phillips screwdriver.

Instructions

Step 1

Decide on a stand (which leg you will have in front). If you are a beginner, slide down a small hill on your feet or simply slide on the ice for a better understanding. One of your legs will be in front anyway.

Step 2

Determine the distance between the centers of the mounting discs or the rack width that is convenient for you. Usually, for this, the distance from the floor to the middle of the kneecap is measured and, as a rule, it coincides with the distance between the centers of the discs of the mounts installed on the middle holes (a small error of 4 centimeters is allowed). If your rack width is wider or smaller, just open or slide the mounts. If the bindings need to be placed a little closer to each other, only move the rear bracing.

Step 3

Snowboard bindings are placed at an angle to the center axis of the board. In principle, you can choose the angle yourself, which one is more convenient for you. But for beginners, it is preferable to turn the front leg 15-20 degrees from the axis, the back - 0- plus / minus 5 degrees from the transverse axis. In order to calculate the angle, you need to rotate the mounting disc by the number of degrees that you need (there are special notches on the discs).

Step 4

The fasteners can now be screwed on. Each of them is secured with 4 screws using a Phillips screwdriver. You need to tighten it tightly, but not overtightening.
