When will Russia learn to play football? This question is of interest to many fans across the country. But, at the same time, no one can give a positive answer to this question.
Before answering the sore subject, it must be said that football in Russia is by no means the main sport. Our country is famous for figure skating, to some extent, biathlon, hockey. And football is just the expectations of the fans and the hopes of the spectators, who do not always make up the bulk of the population of our country.
So when will Russia learn to play football? Judging by the words of the great King of Football Pele, who is a multiple world champion (whose record will not be broken very soon), the Russian national team will win the World Championship only when the Brazilians become triumphant in the hockey world championship … himself "gladiators" in football statistics, but the level of the Russian national team has remained the same over the past five years. And over the years, the Russian national team has become the last team from among the national teams in the decisive group stage of the 2014 World Cup, and at EURO 2016 they turned out to be the team at the bottom of the table (fourth out of four possible).
There is only one hope - young talents of our country, players unencumbered by multimillion-dollar contracts. But they need a chance. Practice of playing at least in the clubs of the Russian Football Premier League. The generation of footballers who won the European Youth Championship (U-18) failed to gain a foothold in the main teams of the Masters. But this is only an indicator that the legionnaire "horde" in the Premier League clubs, and partly in the FNL, interferes with the improvement of native players.
In general, Russia will learn to play football when the curtain of emigration remains unshakable in our sport, and the heads of the country's main clubs pay attention to young talents.
At the same time, the coaching staff should take lessons from the main specialists of the world, in particular, undergo training at the Italian school of coaches "Coverciano" for the best preparation of Russian players.
