If you decide to pump up your biceps or just get a little stronger, and at the same time improve your figure, you will need a barbell. It is not necessary to immediately run to the sporting goods store and purchase a stylish, but terribly expensive piece of equipment. To begin with, you can make a barbell on your own at home.
It is necessary
8 empty plastic bottles, wide stationery tape, a handle for a shovel or pipe with a diameter of 30-35 mm and a length of about 2 meters, aluminum wire, river sand or cement (powder)
Instructions
Step 1
Take plastic bottles and fill them with dry river sand (preferably sifted, fine fraction). As it fills, the sand should be tamped, from time to time tapping the bottom of the bottle on the floor. When filling bottles with cement, remember that such a rod will be heavier than with sand. Screw the caps on the bottles as tightly as possible.
Step 2
Place 4 bottles together (not in a row) and wrap them with wide tape. It is advisable to make at least 30 turns (you should feel that the bottles in the bundle do not dangle, but are fastened firmly). After that, fix the bundle with aluminum wire: closer to the bottom of the bottles - 4 turns and closer to the necks - also 4 turns. That is, you should have two bottle bunches with "aluminum" fixation at the top and bottom.
Step 3
Insert the handle (or pipe) into the holes in the center of each bundle. How to fix it, everyone decides for himself. You can, for example, insert the handle so that its ends are exposed along the edges of the bottle bundles, and fix the load (so that it does not move along the handle) with wire, tape or cord, winding it tightly on the handle.
