In boxing, as a rule, one position is used in which the athlete spends the entire fight. This position is called the stance. It can be modified depending on the individual qualities of the athlete, but the requirements for it are the same: it is a stable position that allows you to deftly move in any direction. Developing the correct stance must be taken very seriously, as its imperfection can fail even a talented boxer.
Racks are divided into left-sided and right-sided. More typical - left-sided, and we will talk about it.
Instructions
Step 1
Fix the position of the hands. It should provide maximum protection and readiness to fight at any moment. Place your hands near the head (temples), the elbows protect the torso, clench the fist of the right hand.
Step 2
Work on the position of your legs. Place your feet almost parallel, point the toe of your left foot at an imaginary opponent. Raise the heel of your right leg a little. Distribute your body weight on both legs, bend your knees slightly. You should be comfortable with taking the hit.
Step 3
Lock the housing. Turn your left shoulder towards an imaginary opponent, move your pelvis forward a little. The head is tilted like an ear in the wind, the chin is pressed to the chest.
