The most expensive category “A” tickets for the Games cost 50,000 rubles. In accordance with accepted Olympic practice, free tickets and discounts are not provided.
In addition, the Sochi 2014 organizing committee set limits on the number of tickets purchased per one hand per event. For events with high demand, including the opening ceremony, hockey and figure skating, there is a limit of 4 tickets per person, for other competitions - 8 tickets. The total number of tickets purchased per order cannot exceed 50.
Housing prices
Housing prices in Sochi during the Olympics will be regulated by the Russian Government. The rental price will be influenced by the category of the hotel and room. The highest probable cost of renting a suite in a five-star hotel will be 13 896 rubles per day, housing of other categories is estimated at 10 569 rubles. You can rent a luxury room in four-star hotels for 13,148 rubles.
Cheaper accommodation in Sochi during the Olympics is provided in hotels of three or less stars, as well as in private mini-hotels. A standard room is estimated at 4339 rubles. In the private sector, housing will be cheaper. It will be possible to rent a cottage or apartment for 10-15 thousand rubles. It should be borne in mind, however, that the owners of mini-hotels or guest houses can set their own prices for the offered accommodation.
