In group A, the first two places were taken by the reigning champions of Spain and Italy. The championship in the quartet went to Atletico Madrid. The second place in the standings was taken by the Turin "Juventus". It should be noted that Juventus is the only Italian team to have made it to the 2014/15 Champions League playoffs.

From Group B, Real Madrid (the current winner of the Champions Cup) easily left the first place. The Spaniards have won six victories in six matches. The second place in the quartet was taken by the Swiss “Basel”, which left the famous “Liverpool” outside the tournament.

In group C, the championship belongs to the French "Monaco". In second place is the German Bayer. This was the group in which the St. Petersburg Zenit played. The Russian team managed to become only the third.

As expected from Group D, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal of London have left. Both clubs scored an equal number of points (13 each). However, in terms of additional indicators, the Germans were the first.

In the group where CSKA Moscow played, Bayern, as expected, took the first place. The second place in the standings of Quartet E was heroically won by Manchester City. It was the German and English clubs that made it to the playoffs from the death group, leaving Roma and CSKA in third and fourth places, respectively.

Barcelona and PSG easily made it through the group stage of the 2014/15 Champions League in Quartet F. The whole question was which club would take first place in the group. In the decisive match, Barcelona beat PSG (3-1) at their home stadium, which determined the Spanish championship.

In Group G, London “Chelsea” confidently took the first place in the table. The second place went to the German Schalke 04. Only in the last round were Schalke players able to secure their participation in the spring stage of the main club football tournament of the Old World.

Portuguese Porto and Donetsk Shakhtar are the other clubs that managed to take the leading places in their groups.

Thus, in the playoffs of the 2014-2015 Champions League, there will be four representatives of the German championship, three from the Spanish and English, two from the French and one each from Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and Ukraine.
