Being engaged in any kind of sport, each of us tries to choose the most comfortable clothes. Therefore, when choosing training suits, it is necessary to consider comfort, breathability and how high-quality the material is. Quite recently, only natural fabrics were endowed with such properties, but in the modern world a lot of synthetic fabrics have been created that are not one step inferior to natural ones.

Features of synthetic clothing

Synthetics are fibers that have been created using chemical materials. This fabric contains a synthetically derived polymer. The advantage of modern synthetic fabrics is that they are hypoallergenic and harmless. The next positive point is that, for example, the presence of nylon allows things to stretch well and adapt to the shape of your body, without losing their shape, and the addition of polyester gives strength to the clothes, which will allow them to be worn for more than one year.

More recently, special training kits made of synthetic fabrics, which are initially impregnated with a special antibacterial substance, have appeared on the market. This helps protect human skin from germs that appear during exercise. And also a novelty that athletes often use is clothing, the fibers of which contain capsules with a moisturizing and fat-burning effect.

Features of natural fabrics

As for natural fabrics, everything is simple. Everyone knows that clothes made from natural fibers are of high quality and do not cause allergic reactions. But are all types of natural fabrics suitable for comfortable sports? There are 4 main types of natural fabrics in total.

• Cotton. It is a very light fabric that is breathable and very pleasant to the body. But it is not used in its pure form for the manufacture of sportswear, since during washing the product quickly loses its shape and wears out. Therefore, for the manufacture of sportswear, a small percentage of synthetic fiber is added to the cotton fabric.

• Silk. It is a beautiful fabric that boasts distinctive durability. But I don’t use silk for sports, because during the first wash the product can shrink and shed, so it will not last long.

• Wool. The woolen fabric is durable and comfortable for the winter season, but not for sports. Products made from such fabric wear out quickly and can cause allergies.

• Linen. The fabric is easy to wash and is remarkably breathable. But due to the fact that linen crumples a lot, manufacturers add synthetics for better shape retention.

Today the choice of fabrics is very diverse. Blended fabrics are gaining ground on the market. After all, the successful combination of natural fibers with synthetic ones allows you to combine environmental friendliness and hygiene with practicality, which is an ideal option for creating sportswear.
