Creation of the world … Great theme! So how did it all start? Yoga tells us that there is a certain primordial principle. He bears the name of the Absolute.

The Absolute has expressed its will to appear in a manifested state, has expressed its will to create our Universe. Until that time, although how can we talk about a time when the very concept of "time" did not exist …

The axiomatics of yoga says that "time" was created much later. In this regard, we cannot characterize the world that was then, we cannot find a description for the Absolute itself, since it was in an unmanifested state and there was nothing else.

Super-logical concepts, they are not always easy for our minds. We resort to the help of axioms in order to at least somehow imagine, to imagine how our mind is able to do it!

But for now we will not dwell on this, because now we are talking about the very moment of the creation of the Universe. So, the Absolute wished, as it is said in yoga, expressed its will, to manifest itself. And this was the very first manifestation of it, it was the first impetus in the creation of our world.

It turns out that the very first thing that happened was Will! In yogic treatises it is said, "The Absolute manifested the Will." The following phrase is used: "The Absolute said to itself" Let me be! " You can also find the wording: “May I be! May I be many!"

Thus, the Absolute has expressed its will to manifest itself. At first there was nothing, then the Absolute passed into the manifested state. Again, it is worth making an amendment here. This is not to say that "there was nothing." There was the Absolute, but it was in an unmanifested state. There is little to say about this state, even to think about it. All these descriptions only indicate the directions of our thought with you. Information for thought, so to speak.

And we will be able to understand how our world works, to understand the universe not earlier than when we have completely passed our path of self-knowledge. But, one way or another, the first manifestation of our world was Will! It is with the Will that the Raja Yoga invites us to work, to develop and use this greatest instrument that the Absolute has given us.
