Diving to a depth, even in warm seas, makes an acute issue not only of a diver's equipment, but also of his equipment - clothing for diving. It is necessary to choose equipment for diving, taking into account the conditions in which you will mainly dive.

Instructions

Step 1

For tourist diving to depths of 5-6 meters in Turkey, the Emirates or Egypt, beach swimming trunks and swimwear are suitable. The main reason why you need equipment is the danger of hypothermia, so you should forget about your regular sports trunks and swimwear if you are a scuba diver or scuba diver.

Step 2

It should be noted, however, that even to dive in the southern and shallow Red Sea, you will definitely need to dress warmly. Already at depths of 6-10 meters you can feel the effect of the "thermocline" - when denser and colder deep ones do not mix with the warm surface layers of sea water. The temperature drop in a layer 20-25 cm thick can be 15-20o - your head and torso will be warm, and your legs will be very cold.

Step 3

For temperatures up to 21 ° C, choose a “wet” wetsuit that will get water during diving. Your body will not freeze due to the fact that the water that gets inside the wetsuit will heat up, but will not flow out of it. Such suits are sewn from foamed rubber - neoprene, which does not allow water to circulate inside and cool down. Such suits can be with knee-length and ankle-length pants, which makes it possible to use them with special “boots”, which are also sewn from neoprene.

Step 4

For deep diving at temperatures of 15-20 ° C and ice diving, you need a “dry” wetsuit, in which water does not circulate over the surface of the body, and the skin remains dry. Choose a cut that will take into account the peculiarities of your figure, so that the suit fits snugly to the surface of the body, but allows you to wear several layers of underwear under it. Available in neoprene and trilaminate models with anti-drip membranes. The cost of such a suit, of course, will be several times higher than that of a "wet" one.

Step 5

For underwear when diving in a "dry" diving suit, use a special, tight-fitting body thermal underwear. It is made from blended yarns with the addition of natural wool fibers. By adjusting the number of layers, you can comfortably use the drysuit at different depths and temperatures.
