Skateboarding has become a fairly common hobby among young people today. Most people are attracted by the beauty of the exciting tricks performed by experienced craftsmen. Behind the external lightness and ease of each of them are long training sessions. Many snowboarding tricks are based on manual or balance.

Instructions

Step 1

Manual - the movement of the skateboarder on the board only on the rear wheels with the front suspension raised up. It is best to start learning this element while standing still, and later try to move and keep balance.

First, choose a flat training surface. The board must be firmly on the ground. Take a starting position: one foot is in the area of the bolts that secure the front surface, and the other is on the tail of the skateboard.

Step 2

Try shifting your center of gravity by changing your body position so that the front wheels of the skateboard are upward and the back of the board is not touching the ground. Be careful: despite the apparent ease of the trick, learning it can be traumatic, so do not forget about protection.

Step 3

Once you get the board position you want, try to keep your balance and hold on for as long as possible. In order to make it easier for you to balance, do not keep your legs straight at the knees, but sit down a little and spread your arms to the sides as wide as possible - this will make the manual much easier. Of course, from the outside, such an element will not look beautiful and effective, but over time you will get used to balancing without hands, and at the initial stage, such support is very useful.

Step 4

After you begin to manage to keep the balance in place for a long time, you can proceed to learning the manual in motion. For this, a flat surface is also important, without slopes and obstacles. Stand on the board, push off several times to accelerate to the speed most comfortable for you, and, transferring the center of gravity to the back of the board, repeat the same steps that you learned to do while standing still. It is important at this stage not to fall back and not restrain your movements, which are necessary in order to maintain balance. After a few workouts, you will learn how to perform this element without much difficulty, after which you can practice other tricks.
