Step 1
The rules of hockey are the same for everyone. The match consists of three 20 minute periods with a 15 minute break. Extra time is allowed in the event of a tie. There are six players on each side: five playing team members and a goalkeeper. Substitutions of players and goalkeeper are allowed. Each team has a captain and two deputies. They are the ones who discuss with the referees issues that arise in the course of the game. A hockey game is served by three or four referees who enforce the rules during the game and punish them with fines.

Each hockey player has a stick, skates, top uniform of the same color and protective equipment in his equipment: helmet with mask, knee pads, elbows and shoulders, gloves. Each player has his own number, which is applied to the form. The team captain has the letter "C" on the form, his deputies have the letter "A".
Step 3
The practice of playing hockey can be started from the age at which the child has steadily mastered the skates. Usually, when training young hockey players at the first stage, the rules of the game are not as strict as in adult games. This helps young players to get comfortable on the ice, to learn stick handling techniques. However, over time, the rules still have to be learned and followed.
Step 4
The main requirement of a hockey game is sports behavior on the ice and a beautiful dynamic game without penalty minutes.

The main violations in hockey are violations against players: blows to opponents with a stick and hands, trips, fights, rudeness.
