Modern football cannot be imagined without technical and high-speed players. Dribbling is a part of the arsenal that you have to work hard on every workout. There is a certain scheme for improving the skills of outflanking the opponent's players.
It is necessary
- - ball;
- - boots;
- - football field;
- - cones.
Instructions
Step 1
Tie your boots tightly. Make sure that the leg is firmly seated, but not overtightened. This moment is essential for ball control, as loose feet in the cleats will reduce your speed while dribbling. Always keep this aspect in mind.
Step 2
Dribble the ball every ¼ and ½ steps. Always focus on close ball control. This is the main quality of a dribbler, since there is no point in working on speed if there is no clear control of the ball. Move to faster work (stroke) as soon as you can control the movement well every half step.
Step 3
Use cones in your dribbling training. Arrange them on the field so that you get a straight corridor of triangles. Trace the ball around each cone, like a skier going downhill with a slalom and trying to hit the space between the obstacles. Start dribbling every half step to be confident in your technique. Only then increase the speed. Then move the cones a little closer together so that it becomes more difficult for you to stroke around them.
Step 4
Make it difficult for yourself. Now make a corridor out of rectangles. It should be approximately 10 meters wide and 30 meters long. Start moving through the hallway, dribbling every quarter step, and accelerate every 6-7 meters. Come back dribbling in the same rhythm. The practice of going from slow to medium tempo to high tempo is critical to increasing your dribbling speed.
Step 5
Apply the acquired skills in real game situations. Remember that during your workout, it is comfortable enough to make the bypass movements. Whereas in an official match you have no room for error. Act according to the principle: better, simpler, but more reliable. It is more expedient to make a simple move, but beat the opponent and keep the ball, than to lose it.
