It is necessary

Grinding machine, plastic laminated coating, glue, soft and hard wood, steel edges, core, steel and metal matrix, screen printer, press

Instructions

Step 1

So what does a factory need to make a good snowboard? It is worth warning right away that its design is not as simple as it seems at first glance. A fairly large amount of materials is required. Also, you cannot make a snowboard just on one machine, you still have to use your hands.

Step 2

Purchase steel piping. In the manufacture of a snowboard, they will be required first of all. They must first be bent according to the shape of the future snowboard. You will also need a laminated plastic cover and glue to fill the inside of our inventory.

Step 3

Laminate hard and soft woods to make the core of the future board. If you do not, then it will simply rot from the inside.

Step 4

Carefully take all measurements, as well as insertions in the space of the hydrocarbon fiber core, if required for this particular model of snowboard. Next, make the shape of the core and press it. These actions should only be entrusted to a special machine.

Step 5

Next, start creating a holistic structure: put together the core, laminate and slippery. First, put the bottom metal matrix, put the slipper on the bottom, and the special glue on top. Frame the matrix from the side with steel edges, and put the cut and assembled core into the resulting container. Above - fiberglass, and on top of the entire structure - a steel matrix.

Step 6

Get rid of the resulting matrix after that. Now you have a shape for your future snowboard.

Step 7

Then put the board in a special press with a curved or concave shape, depending on the geometry of the product. Hold it under a press for 10 minutes, remove and cut off any excess.

Step 8

Cut out the metal mold and the top excess pieces of plastic with special scissors. After that, the snowboard already looks like a real product from the store. But that's not all.

Step 9

Place the board on a screen printer and apply the top design. Let it dry and harden properly. Next, wet and dry polish the board. This is usually done by other specialists. That's it, your board is ready. Now it can pass quality control and be used in operation.
