The Russian national football team represents the country at various world-class championships. This team includes only the best players who have repeatedly shown themselves in action.
Instructions
Step 1
The Russian national football team first declared itself in 1992 as the successor to the Soviet Union national team. The composition of the team is updated annually, but the average number of athletes in the national team does not exceed 25 people. Some of them play in Russian football teams, and some have long been full-fledged members of foreign clubs.
Step 2
There are no special principles for the formation of the composition of the national team. The choice of players rests entirely on the shoulders of the team's coaching staff. As a rule, mentors are most often guided by the statistics of Russian clubs and, based on it, invite certain athletes to the national team. Most often, the country is represented by the players of the Russian football Premier League, less often the players of the clubs of the first and second divisions are invited to the national team.
Step 3
A minimum of 11 athletes are required to play, including two forwards, five midfielders, four defenders and a goalkeeper. Forwards and midfielders are called upon to play the game near the opponent's goal, the rest of the players must defend their goal. In addition to the main squad, the Russian national football team includes reserve players who are ready to replace players injured or sent off for one reason or another. At the moment, there are 23 people in the national football team.
Step 4
All invited athletes undergo thorough medical control, according to the results of which the coaching staff of the Russian national football team draws up a training plan. Much attention is paid to the psychological stability of the players, for this additional (both group and individual) consultations with psychologists are arranged.
Step 5
For training sessions, mentors gather absolutely all members of the national team, even those who may not take the field. The training program depends not only on the physical condition of the athletes, but also on the rank of their future opponents. Coaches carefully study the games of the teams with which their players will have to fight, identify strengths and weaknesses, draw certain conclusions about the team as a whole.
Step 6
As a result, for each match, an individual technique of the game is selected, which the players try to follow in order to achieve a victorious result. The large size of the team allows the coaching staff to vary the composition of the team and oppose the most powerful players to different rivals.
